The girls spent the afternoon making a splash in the local swimming pond. It's been so much fun exposing Lottie to water and using Becks and Oakley as encouragement to go into the deep end. Becks will gladly swim all day whereas Oakley likes to cool off, but prefers to bask in the sun instead. Lottie is just all about sticks and playing with whoever will entertain the puppy play.
Beehive Cluster-May 6th-8th, 2022
Hosted by the
Utah Valley Kennel Club & Intermountain Kennel Club
We entered the Beehive Cluster in South Jordan, UT from May 6th-8th. The Utah Valley Kennel Club hosted Friday's show and Intermountain Kennel Club hosted Saturday and Sunday. Lottie won Best of Class, Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite, and Owner Handled Best of Breed. Sunday we stayed for the NOHS group and had a great go around in the ring. We didn't place, but it was our first time being able to compete in Group under the National Owner Handled Series. We also earned ourselves 15 points in the NOHS category.

Lizard Butte-April 8th-10th, 2022
Hosted by the
Lizard Butte Kennel Club
Hurray for a great weekend at our very first AKC show! We registered for the Puppy 9-12mo. class for all three days of the show. Each day Lottie took home Best of Class and earned Reserve Winners Bitch. It was so much fun being able to travel with our Irish Wolfhound friends. They helped guide us each day to the right ring, helped us understand the order of classes and dogs being called into the ring, and we got to watch as one of our friends won Best of Breed for the Scottish Deerhounds and compete in the group round. Lottie was a little bit shy with the judge and struggled to keep her head up while moving around the ring, but the judges seemed to like her and her sweet personality.
