Hello! We are Michael and Amanda, founders of Wild West Weimaraners. We have been married since 2016 and welcomed our first Weimaraner, Becks, to our home in 2017. We love to adventure and spend most of our time outdoors and up in the mountains. We hunt big and upland game, hike local trails, and we enjoy exploring state and national parks. We love Utah for all the recreation and nature that it has to offer. Michael grew up with dogs and loves to build a strong bond with them. He is known as the rough-houser of the family. Amanda has always been an animal lover at heart. She has a background in training and showing horses in the English discipline so naturally owning, training, competing dogs was something she knew she wanted to do as they go hand in hand. We value versatility, preservation, and overall breed improvement. We will not always have a litter available as we focus on developing well rounded dogs who will serve their homes well in whatever capacity they desire.
