Dog Mom and Lottie spent the weekend with all of their friends up in Pocatello Idaho for the Eastern Idaho Spring Classic. We enjoy ring times on Friday through Sunday and place Best of Sex and Best of Opposite each day. During our puppy match on Saturday evening we place first. The weather during this show was a struggle for us. Between the colder temps, the wild wind coming through and then hot spells we really had a run for our money. We learned a lot this trip and took some time to reflect on what we can do to be better and work harder as a team. We caught up with some new Idaho friends from the breed and we were so excited to hear of all the opportunities they have experienced over the years. We were granted sponsorship from a couple of our Weim friends who are part of the parent club which meant we could actually submit our application and begin to further our journey into the breed.
We had a great time spending the weekend with our dog mom friends and of course we laughed, ate a bunch of junk food, and enjoyed talking all things dogs. As someone who is new into the dog sporting world its been a blast being surrounded by like minded people who have been a huge support system for us. They answer all of our questions, laugh at our terrible jokes, they encourage and help provide pointers for improvement. They really have been such a blessing for us throughout this entire journey and we're so grateful for them.
